It is chosen as a "Japanese city park 100" for its famous cherry-blossom viewing spot in Nagaoka-city. There are facilities such as swimming pool, baseball field, mini-zoo, monkey mountain, Japanese garden as well as museum of district historical materials and various playground equipments in the garden. There is a walk way around Midori Izumi pond which is endowed with the natural resources such as plants, insects and wild birds.
Free parking space. No admission.
Access
･Take a bus at Nagaoka Station east exit bus stop No2. Get off at Yukyuzan (Approx 15 minutes)
･Ten minutes drive from Nagaoka Station
･20 minutes from Nagaoka IC exit on Kanetsu/Hokuriku expressway. 10 minutes from Nakanoshima Mitsuke interchange
